Having a safe is always a good investment. Most of today’s modern safes feature electronic keypad-entry instead of the traditional rotary combination or key lock in the form of a Digital Safe.

Of course if one is available, you can always have the Digital Safe serviced by a qualified and authorized technician. With the older traditional combination locks, if you forgot the exact number for the lock, but remembered some of the digits, you could always substitute random numbers until you came across the one you were missing.
The electronic keypad safes don’t allow for this type of tampering. On some models of the digital safe, it may even be programmed to block any and all attempts to insert random numbers into the keypad.
The security offered by digital safes, unfortunately can be hampered by the need for a person to remember what the key code is.
